The Asia Pacific Consultation On Discipleship

The Asia Pacific Consultation On Discipleship [APCOD; pronounced A-P-COD] is a life-transforming vision that brings
to focus the urgent need for authentic Christian discipleship and biblical disciple-making in the Church of Jesus Christ.

At the heart of the calling is the passion for every member in the Body of Christ in every nation of the Asia-Pacific region
to seek personal transformation in the Lord Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, thereby impacting family, church and society through changed hearts with changed lives and renewed minds focused on bearing fruit to God.

Recognized as a major step forward in the consolidation of Christianity in the Asia-Pacific region, APCOD reaffirms the crucial need for a fresh hearing and understanding of the historic reality of the man Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah, in His Jewish setting; a renewed consciousness of the historic Hebraic roots of Biblical discipleship coupled with the reinvigoration of a thinking Christian mind that is in total obedience to follow Christ and to love and serve God only.

The Kingdom Advances

“Faithful believers of this region will be the preservers of the great truths of Judeo-Christian orthodoxy joined to the vitality of Spirit-led and life-transforming discipleship” says Dwight Pryor, Founder - The Center for Judaic-Christian Studies, USA.

As a man, Yeshua went about on a mission: raising up many disciples. His focused determination to accomplish this task assigned Him by the Father explains why Jesus avoided and would even run off great crowds that came for healing, inspirational sermons and miraculous provisions of bread.

Day of Prayer for Asia Pacific Discipleship

Day of Prayer for Asia Pacific Discipleship is an annual solemn assembly during the harvest Festival of Weeks (Shavuot; Leviticus 23:15-22) and Pentecost (Acts 2:1) initiated by APCOD to pray for authentic Christian discipleship in the Asia Pacific region.

Biblically, the harvest connection of the ‘Day of Firstfruits' (Numbers 28:26) and the firstfruits of all creation (James 1:18) through the word of truth symbolizes the life-transforming discipleship to Jesus and the central call to repentance and to bear fruit to God.
